Common questions.
The answers customers need before they install.
Does the customer need internet the entire time?
No. The editor runs locally. Internet is mainly for sign-in, activation, periodic validation, and downloading updates.
Do caption jobs stay separated by customer account?
Yes. Each account only sees its own videos, jobs, exports, and machine activation state.
How many computers can use one subscription?
One machine activation per subscription by default.
How do updates work?
When a newer release is marked current, the app can show an in-app update prompt, download the installer, and launch it.
What comes with the monthly subscription?
One login, one machine activation, local caption generation, editing tools, subtitle exports, and access during the active billing period.
